Busy Bee
Its been such a hectic few weeks at work! *phew* And its still only thursday. One more day to go and its the weekend! Yaaaay!
Its been horrible and rainy since yesterday. Problem is, the rain is like ice water here. By the time I get in to work (i walk to work. Good excersice for 25 minutes!), my ears are cold enough to just snap off! But with the fast walking and the snowman looking coat (it doesnt help that my coat is white!), the rest of me is warm enough.
Its about 6 weeks before I go home to Malaysia. EXCITED! But also a bit sad since my Sam wont be along until sometime in June.
Am looking foward to my Mummy's cooking! And following my dad to the pasar malam and pasar Tanis. Its great! Childhood memories that I like to re-live any chance I get! Once we went to the pasar malam and it started raining so suddenly we couldnt even get to the car before we were totally drenched! So, since he didnt want us to soak the car seats, he decided we should walk home and get the car later! So my daddy and I walked home together in the warm rain, and he kicked muddy water all over me everytime there was a convinient puddle! It was fun!
*sigh*
I miss home.
I will write more about my growing up some time. Right now, Im just thinking about all the things I want to do when I get home. My nieces (Ashley, Adelle and Adelia) and I for one will be having a girls day in! We'll make cookies and have it over a glass of milk and talk and talk until they get tired....hmmm... or at least until I get tired. Chatter boxes they are! Even the youngest daughter of my brother. Her name is Adelia and she will turn 3 this August. My nices and nephews call me Aunty Leeny, but since Adelia substitues all her L's with D's, she calls me Aunty Deeny! so cute! Spoke to her on the phone last weekend! Man! When I left she couldnt speak yet, and now shes asking me when I will be getting home!
Imagine what she sounds like when Adrian (my one and only darling brother) gets her to say "Lucy Lawless Loves Lollypops!" HAHAHAHAHAH!
My eldest sisters (Elaine) youngest son, Ryan....he was a wee baby when I left. A little boy now! And my other sister Jane's baby....Alicia, I've never even met her! I've been missing too much.
And my mosquito.. ...Tristan! (Thats Elaine's middle kid). Why do I call him that? Well, he used to whine alot. So I told him he sounded like a mosquito and I can never understand a word he says! He doesnt whine anymore now. He's a big boy! But still my little mosquito!
I could go on and on and on about my family. But I'll save it for some other time. I need to get back to work!
You all have a brilliant day! And go tell your family they are ace! One day they will be gone and you'll be sorry you didnt tell them you cared! I'm telling you!
